For the Next 5 Years
I’ve always set goals in my life and surprisingly, when I check on my achievements, I somehow reached most of it. I’m not claiming that I did it all by myself. Definitely, I reached it because of a lot of factors. First and foremost, because of God’s guidance and blessings, because of my hubby, my family, my relatives, my ever supportive friends, my co-workers and colleagues. well, just tell me if I missed someone or something that has made a contribution to where I am now….
I can say that I’m just lucky to have them all by my side. And I’m also lucky because the turn of the tides are most of the time, to my advantage. Now, I’m again setting new goals for the next 5 years. I hope and pray that I can still achieve them. And I also hope that those people who supported me won’t be tired of doing it. I have to put in again tons of determination, perseverance, patience and hard work. Here’s some of them. Pardon me but the others, I have to keep it to myself:
1. A brand new house
2. Another brand new car - should be Ford
3. Be a VP in a company - although I still can’t say which company! hahaha!
4. Enroll my child in a nice school
5. Travel
I believe that there’s nothing wrong in setting goals. In fact, I think goals are the reasons why a person continues to have zest in life. It helps one to stay happy and be motivated even if things sometimes go astray or don’t go as planned. But make sure that your goals are realistic and attainable. Because if not, you’ll end up pushing yourself too hard. Oh! And by the way, you should also know how to handle it if ever you weren’t able to reach your goal. Maybe it’s not yet the right time, or maybe it’s just simply and plainly not for you. Don’t get depressed but move on and try again. You’ll never know, if God really wants you to achieve it, He’ll really give it to you (again in His right time).
Well, how about you? Have you set your goals already? It doesn’t matter if you have a different time frame. It may be daily, monthly, yearly or what have you? As long as you have something to aim for, then your life will continue to be challenging and interesting.

To support you and hubby and son is not asking to much from me, even to the last breath of my life. Just remember that there is a recipe for all this never ending support:….
‘A good deed is never lost. He who sows courtesy, reaps friendship; he who plants kindness, gathers love; pleasure bestows upon a grateful mind. But…. generally, gratitude begets reward.”
Goals and aims are good to have as long as you don’t obsess or lose yourself achieving them making you forget that you have a family to tend, love and to take care of above all your goals.
The recipe for your goals is simple. Just this….”Singleness of purpose is one of the chief essentials for success in life, no matter what may be one’s aim.”
